GNM:
GNM programme is meant to prepare general nurses who can efficiently perform as members of the health team and capable of dealing the competencies in both the hospitals and other such organizations.
- Affiliated to KSDNEB and approved by KNC, INC and GOK
- Duration: 3 years
- Eligibility: 10+2 with 40% in 3 major subjects and English language.
- Age limit: 17-35 years as on December 31 of the admission year.
BSC NURSING
- Affiliated to RGUHS and approved by KNC, INC and GOK
- Duration: 4 years
- Eligibility: 10+2 with 45% in (Physics, chemistry and Biology) and English language.
- Age limit 17-35 years as on December 31 of the admission year.
PB.BSC NURSING
- Affiliated to RGUHS and approved by KNC, INC and GOK
- Duration : 2 years
- Eligibility : 50% in GNM
M.SC. NURSING
- Affiliated to RGUHS and approved by KNC, INC and GOK
- Duration : 2 years
- Eligibility : B.Sc Nursing with one year experience from date of result of 4th year or PB.BSc without experience.
- Age limit: 55 years as on December 31 of the admission year. (Note: NRI and Foreign students cannot study OBG as per INC)

Clinical Experience
Our nursing students are given an exceptional clinical facilities at the following. K.C. General Hospital is in the heart of the city at a distance of 2 kms from Bangalore Railway Station and Bus Stand. This 453 bedded hospital has good number of inpatient & outpatient of about 600-1000 respectively. Very peculiar cases are attended here, which is the major attraction.Sapthagiri Hospital is on Bangalore, it is centrally located and it has an easy access to 50 surrounding villages in a radius of 2 kms. It is well equipped hospital with well versed nursing staff / doctors. It is a 700 bedded hospital with 500 inpatients / 1000 outpatients.
Other than NRR Hospital, Manjunatha Charitable Hospital is our parent hospital with 150 beds. It is well equipped multi speciality hospital with all facilities with good number of inpatient & outpatient. It is located at Yeshwanthpur Railway Station, 5 km from college. It is located in a place where lower middle class are treated. Ashraya-an Aids Organisation under the Government of Karnataka is also under the same roof where students can interact with patients directly & get the privilege of satisfaction of serving the people.
Nelamangala General Hospital – 150 bedded, on Tumkur National Highway treats accident and trauma cases, it caters to about 40 villages surrounding 25 km in radius. Clinical facilities are also used at Victoria Hospital, Vani Vilas Hospital, Sanjaygandhi Accident & Trauma Care Hospital, Indira Gandhi Child Health Hospital, Kidwai Memorial Hospital, Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology. Mental Institute of Neurological Disorder (MIND), Bangalore which is the only Psychiatric Hospital with 200 beds. The students are exposed to rural areas & urban as prescribed by Indian Nursing council syllabus & posted to Government Hospitals / Charitable / Private Hospital, where all the students get the privilege of serving the people from all walks of life.
The Students are sent to communities of Urban and rural areas, where each student shall have an opportunity to get a family for check-up.
Training and placement
Placement cell of the college is very active in the field through continuous interaction with reputed companies across industry sectors in order to identify their requirements. Students who are ready for placement are carefully profiled and prepared for attending interviews in their companies.
Students are also encouraged to undergo training in hospitals to acquaint them with the rational use of drugs, prescription monitoring, pharmacist-physician-patient interactions and patient counseling. The practical training of minimum of 400 hrs is compulsory for the students.
